Good, clean accommodation at this legendary welsh surf spot. At least it was when we went there, had just been built. Large, warm rooms. Pub can be ok if not overrun with chavs but the food was awful. At best was crap. They served us up with fish that was still frozen in the middle amongst other inedible fodder…
There’s at least two good places to eat a short drive away, Welcome to Town in Llanrhidian and Fairyhill, Reynoldston. Few police but narrow lanes so take care if drinking. Among it’s good points is the beer garden, one of the most scenic I know, a fab place to watch the sunset. And although it’s no longer the place I used to know and love, it still packs a great vibe on a sunny day.
