The White Hart is a lovely traditional English country pub, just 15 miles from the centre of Bristol. Ample free parking, lots of character, two large inglenook fireplaces, outdoor dining in the lovely gardens with views of the surrounding countryside, estuary and the Severn. We’ve had many excellent meals here, including beer battered cod and chips, lamb shank, goats cheese tart-lets etc, good wine and beer selections, however one incident has really put us off returning! We were unfortunate to overhear an even more unfortunate fellow diner having to ask the barman if they could remove the large dog poo from the corner of the room they were in (one of the family rooms). Put us right off having a pooding!
