Wow, what a great restaurant. I wasn’t expecting much as they have great deals like two courses for £10 so I thought the food may not be up to much. My assumption was totally wrong. I had the most amazing scallops to start followed by duck that was cooked to perfection – not overly fatty. The atmosphere was good, a gentle lunch time humm of noise chatter accompanied by the romantic sounds of the mandolin.
We were told to have the Montelpuccino with our main and it lived up to its recommendation so thanks to the restaurant manager for that.
All in all, I had a really good lunch at a such brilliant value that there is no way I would consider not coming back! Apparently they have live jazz on a Friday so maybe I’ll give that a try!
